P90X

Since probably about 7th grade I've consistently gained about 5lbs every year, which wasn't really a problem until I graduated High School. I by no means think I'm obese, but I do feel overweight for my height and structure. I've gained 20lbs since I graduated and I haven't been able to stick to a diet or exercise plan because my schedule is never consistent and I never see results. I have heard a lot of good things about P90X, results wise. I just got it in the mail today and I'm going to start as soon as finals are over. I think this will  help me reach my goal, which isn't to be "skinny" like some people hope for, I just want to be healthy and in shape. If anyone is interested in if it works or not I'll be taking before and after photos, so I can let you know in about 3 months! :)

Here is a workout sample...

  1. I've heard that PX90 is a fantastic workout - hard, but fantastic =) You should be so proud of yourself and I think it's wonderful that your goal is a healthy/happy weight. Good luck and don't get discouraged!!

  2. I tried P90x and it's tough! I only made it through a few weeks before I gave up. Don't plan on doing too much walking, moving, or standing after the first few days of the workouts.

  3. I love that you want to be healthy and in shape! Being healthy is the most important. I love working out, but haven't tried P90X yet. I know a lot of people have and some it has worked for and others it has not. I'm interested to see how you like it. Good luck! Don't get discouraged, I've heard the first couple weeks are intense!

  4. I used to do P90X, but then I decided I wanted to stay conscious after my workouts. No but seriously it is really intense and if I still owned it I would still do it, but I was just borrowing it to try it out. I found it to be really rewarding for all that you put into it. Good Luck!
